Aliens: Fireteam Elite Materials - Industrial

I was the primary material maker for the entire game of Aliens Fireteam: Elite. I co-created a masked based material system that does most of the wearing and weathering inside of Unreal Engine. This allows artists to create a simple mask, then apply a material preset in engine to achieve an effect. Our small team was able to create and maintain materials across a game with more assets than the team size should have been able to handle.

Many props in these images were created by Carrie Sloane, Rogelio Delgado, myself or are purchased assets or from our outsourcing partners.
